Comments: When John sent pictures of this set of rare Borneo Rosewood I immediately fell for it. I suggested he build it as a 70 series so it would be all about the wood. We decided to pair this special set with some Wintergrain Engelmann...my current favorite top wood. This is a very special guitar. The bottom end is particularly addicting...very focused with a beautiful woody warmth you very seldom hear in bass notes (other than cellos). This is a wonderful voice with immense detail and lots of punch. John installed a K&K pickup so it is stage and studio ready. Another mastertpiece from Northwood!
