- Comments:Mcilroys are hard to come by these days and most are sold before they arrive. This one is up for grabs and it is amazing. The rosewood set is stellar to say the least: straight-grained with figure that can only be matched by the sitka top. The AS models are perfect for recording because they have a warm tone with a sweet, natural compression. The rosewood/sitka combo gives you plenty of volume with a full bottom. This guitar is great for any style of music!
