- Comments: Another stunning example of Josh's extraordinary work for sure! I love the sound of the Quilted Chechen. It looks incredible and has a nice clarity and fullness in the mids. This wood is very similar to the Madigascar Rosewood I have heard. The combination of the Chechen with the Torrified top gives you the best of everything...lots of volume, tons of sustain, and a nice warmth. This Slope has just enough vintage vibe with a more modern super-charged sound. As with all of Josh's guitars, fit, finnish, and overall playability is superb.
