- Comments: We are very excited to take delivery of our first Cirrus model. The Cirrus line is built by our old friend Mike Franks in Michigan, and while gauged to a more affordable price point than his revered “custom” line, rest assured there were NO corners cut here. Everything about this guitar is top shelf, and the sound is pure magic! I love the feel of this neck…full, yet fast, easy, and just FUN to play. The sound is punchy and full with a nice warmth you would expect to hear in a 30 or 40 year old guitar that has been played to death. All in all this U.S.-built line is an amazing deal, and proves there still are incredible bargains in a market that sometimes seems a bit inflated.
