- Comments: This guitar has been getting some stellar reviews lately...and for good reason. The sound of Ovangkol is somewhere between Walnut and Rosewood. This guitar is warm and woody with a very focused mid-range. It will give you a full, round fingerstyle voice, but will also shred when played hard with a pick. The Baggs Anthem makes this guitar stage ready. This is a superb buy for this level of quality!
